Steve Zabor, District 6630

Steve has twice served as president of the Rotary Club of Mantua, served as club treasurer for 14 years, been the chair of one of the club’s major fundraisers and has been the club’s Foundation Chair since 2006. During his tenure as foundation chair the club has regularly given more that $100 per member to the Rotary Foundation. He has been the assistant governor for the six clubs in Portage County since January, 2007. Steve has twice served as a facilitator and twice as a sergeant at arms at the all-Ohio PETS and has provided workshops on strategic planning and on good club programs at the district’s PETS-1 and the district assembly. He has also served on the district’s finance committee for two governors and the strategic planning committee in 2008. He is in line to be District Governor in 2011-12.
A Paul Harris Fellow since 1988 he is currently a PHF+4 and is a major benefactor through a will commitment to the Foundation. His family benefited from his involvement with Rotary when they hosted a Rotary Exchange student from Rostock, Germany in 1998, and again when they hosted the leader of the Group Study Exchange team from Brazil.
Steve and his wife, Kathryn M. Craig, have two grown children who reside in Milwaukee, a middle school instrumental music teacher, and Minneapolis, a graduate student in biostatistics.
